IFBC18 is only five months away and we are getting very excited to head down to New Orleans!
Did you know, not only is the great city of New Orleans celebrating its tricentennial, it has also been ranked by more than 25 publications nationwide as one of the top places to visit in 2018, including The New York Times, Thrillist, Associated Press and Travel + Leisure. This is not the IFBC you want to miss – after all, what could be better than great food, friends, blog talk, music, and all with the backdrop of the Big Easy! Not to mention we’re kicking it all off this year with a pub crawl in the French Quarter!

As for some of that blog talk, we’re pleased to announce that Moolah Marketing’s Rachel Miller and Stefani Pollack from The Cupcake Project, will be joining us to present two highly informative sessions to help us all further maximize the visibility of our brands and blogs. Rachel, a serial online entrepreneur is going to walk us through the ins and outs of Facebook – which we all know are changing almost daily! She’ll share tips and tricks to help you instantly start building your audience and maximizing your exposure.
And Stefani will be teaching us all how to grow our Instagram followers (she adds 500 to 1,000 new followers a day on her account!), while also sharing how we can use the platform to supplement our blogs and even make some money!
We’re also pleased to announce an exciting Blogger/Industry Professional Panel which will feature both bloggers and professional marketers sharing best practices for everything from analytics and SEO, to pitching brands and public relations. In addition, we’re also planning to host several, small-group workshops including an introduction to Food Blogging for beginners and a writing workshop geared toward all food bloggers and writers. Stay tuned for more details coming soon, as well as a call for volunteers to join the panel and lead the workshops.
In the meantime, you can stay in the know by bookmarking our official conference agenda and checking back regularly for updates. We hope to see you in New Orleans!
