The Taste of Juneau!

April 17, 2019 by Allan

One of the events the International Food Blogger Conference is mosts known for is the annual Taste Of, which is a reception in which we invite in 10 – 15 local restaurants to serve small bites to IFBC attendees.

The Taste Of is an amazing event. When else do you have the opportunity to have a dozen or so top quality restaurants come to you and serve you what they perhaps consider their premium, signature dish? Plus, for food bloggers, this is an incredible opportunity to snap photos, take videos, interview chefs, and create content for your blogs and social media. This event would not even be possible except for our practice of moving the IFBC each year to new, interesting food cities.

2019 is no different and we are extremely excited to announce the current lineup of restaurants for the Taste of Juneau.

  1. Alaska Fish and Chips Company
  2. Coppa
  3. Deckhand Dave’s
  4. Forno Rosso Alaska

  8. Roma Bistro on the Wharf
  9. T.K. Maguires
  10. Tracy’s King Crab Shack
  11. Twisted Fish Company Alaskan Grill

You realize that you only have a lineup of 5 different business owners, right? Not even any of the local favorites, nationally mentioned, top-listed Juneau places, or even the James Beard nominated ones for that matter.

Deckhand Dave’s, Lupo, Rookery, Sandbar, Zerelda’s – this is where everyone will tell you to eat.

    Hi, Sara!

I totally agree, those are fabulous eateries!

Chefs Beau and Lionel will be presenting at the conference and we are actively working to have Juneau well represented. Will you be attending? I would love to visit with you and chat about how amazing our dining scene is and how fortunate we are to have such a concentration of deliciousness in our city.

    Have a great day!

    Midgi
